About Us

One word to describe Wendy is PASSIONATE. With more than 30 years’ experience in the business, Wendy has more than her share of passion for a number of causes, not the least of which is Atmosphere Salon-Westford.

She believes in being respectful in all areas and in learning all she can about the products and technology she utilizes in the salon. She is color specialist, and a Certified Educator for Davines, a company she respects and champions. Every six months she is trained in Davines updates, knowledge she passes on to her own stylists as well as to professionals at other salons who are using Davines products.

Her passion for the environment is what drew her to Davines in the first place. Both companies have a respect for the environment and Wendy is quick to say, “I am careful about what impacts the environment, where I source my supplies, and what goes down the sink. It is important to me that Davines replants to replace the botanicals they use in their products.”

Wendy believes in helping people to be the best they can be. She knows that “no one succeeds alone” and that it is important to help those less fortunate. She regularly spearheads a campaign to collect food for the local food pantry. She donates products and gift cards for teens at Christmastime and for homeless and single Moms.

Perhaps Wendy’s biggest passion is for making Atmosphere Salon guests and employees happy. This is her top priority and shines through everything she does.

With Atmosphere Salon since 2008, Chelsea says, “The time has flown because working at the salon isn’t really work. I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.” Chelsea is the daughter of owner, Wendy Hopkins, who has been her mentor over the years. Chelsea is a color specialist. “I love highlighting and corrective color,” Chelsea says. “… and I am grateful to work next to my Mom. Atmosphere isn’t a job to me; it’s home!”

My passion for hair began at a very young age. Ever since I was young, I knew  I wanted nothing more than to make people beautiful every day and have fun while I do it. I am looking forward to furthering my education with skill level and techniques as well as with the company Davines. Being a part of such a wonderful team is what I have been striving for. I especially love and specialize in highlighting, balayage, or any type of blonding service.

Helping people feel good about themselves inside and out is what I strive for. I love to be creative, and thorough in my work. Dimensional color, lived in color, balayage and hand tied extensions are some of my favorites services to do! My clients mean to world to me and I am so lucky to do what I love!
